San Gimignano is a remarkable town located in the heart of Tuscany, Italy. It is renowned for its well-preserved medieval architecture, including its famous towers that dominate the skyline. Often referred to as the "Medieval Manhattan," San Gimignano offers a unique glimpse into the past.
We did more shopping in this town. Since this is the last day in Tuscany, we hurried up to buy aprons, hand towels, and magnets as souvenirs. Some of us bought beautiful decorative ceramics from La Ceramics di Elena Ricciardi. We also purchased Vingers and Pici pasta at Mangius. We all relazied the only way we can take home of these items is to ship them home.
For lunch, we ordered cold cuts and a cheese platter to share at a wine shop.
How can we miss the famous gelato at Caffetteria Gelateria dell'Olmo in San Gimignano? Helen surely enjoyed this treat.
